Eligibility Requirements:
English
must be your first language
Do not
do the tutorial
if you have been working with a counselor or therapist within the
past three months. Please wait three months and then register.
Do
not do the tutorial
if you are an alcoholic, or someone considers you to be an
alcoholic—except if you have been alcohol-free for five (5) years in
a row. Or, if you have mastered your addiction and can now drink
from choice.
Do
not do the tutorial
if you are living/relating with an alcoholic. This includes
socializing with alcoholic friends or parents. The exception being
if the other has been alcohol-free for five (5) years in a row.
Do
not do the tutorial
if you have been in physical (abusive) communication with your
spouse and have not attended weekly therapy or counseling sessions for six months in a row of since the last incident. Our
Spouse Abuse Tutorial
is designed
to support anyone intent on completing his/her experience of abusing
or being abused.
Do not do the
tutorial
if you are presently taking any mind/mood
altering medication. Wait three months. (sugar,
nicotine & caffeine ok)
Do not do the
tutorial
if you are using illegal drugs. Wait three months.
Please don't waste your time and mine trying to
get away with this. The tutorial conversations
require that you be willing and able to
consistently function in the same reality.
Do not
do the tutorial
if you feel you must reveal the contents of the
tutorial to your spouse or partner. If they ask
you, "Hey, let me see," You must agree to
communicate that you have an agreement to not let
anyone read the material and to not talk about the
content of the tutorial with anyone you until
you've completed the tutorial. If you think/know
your spouse/partner would support you in breaking
this
agreement with the tutorial coach, don't do the tutorial.
Lastly and most
importantly:
Do
not do the tutorial
if you sense that you might start and quit—if you
know that you can't be trusted to honor your word.
The tutorial will serve as a catalyst for things
to work or things to not work, at an accelerated
pace. Breaking agreements is suicidal behavior.
Breaking an agreement here will create doubt for
the rest of your life. That's how powerful this
tutorial is. If you break your agreement to
complete the tutorial, then for the rest of your life,
when someone breaks an agreement with you, when
they communicate abusively with you, you'll never
be certain whether or not it was a consequence of
your abuse, your broken agreement with the
tutorial coach. You will have to clean it up
sometime.
Please do not ask why about any of the above.
If you are eligible
