Privacy
Policy: (version 12.29)
 |
We do not sell or give your data to
others.
|
 |
We contact you by email only in
support of registration, webmaster, link, or message
board problems.
|
If we receive email that contains tutorial related
content or tutorial
critiques or comments or acknowledgments, we post it on
our public
Message Board
for all to read and learn from.
 |
We do not
email you follow-up surveys or solicitations.
|
 |
We do not
open emails containing attachments.
|
 |
We do
not inform others that you are doing the tutorial.
|
 |
We do
not request your address or telephone number.
|
Some examples:
We will not
tell anyone that you are doing the tutorial. You
may use an alias as your user/posting
name.
If you reveal that you are involved in
illegal activities we will encourage you to
come clean, however, we would not tell it,
communicate it, or reveal it in any way, to anyone.
If
you reveal that someone you know is involved in
illegal activities we will support you in learning
how to communicate with him/her in support
of cleaning up the situation, however, we would not
contact him/her or any authorities.
If
any authorities
contact us and ask us for information about you we
would firmly decline and then delete any reference
of you on our hard drive and back ups and then do a
clean erase.
You may
request a
Private
Message Board (PMB)
A PMB
means that no one will be able to read your
conversations with the tutorial coach.
Note: It is of
immense value to read other's posts, however, other
tutorial participants may be from your precinct or
department and also posting to the free Police Tutorial
Message Board (PTMB). They may be able to identify
you from the content of your posts. With a for-fee Private
Message Board (PMB) only you
and the coach can view it and have the password to it.
The purpose
of our Privacy Policy is to support open, honest, and spontaneous
communication. Our agreement with tutorial
participants is the same as that of
a priest about confessions. The tutorial will not work for
you if you choose to hide something from us.
If you are very concerned about privacy you may first log on
to
anonymizer.com and
where it reads: "Just enter a URL and press Go:"
enter <http://www.managercoaching.com/police/>.
My understanding is that with anonymizer.com you
cannot be traced except through a court order.
Coupled with an alias username this assures
anonymity.
