It is incorrect to think that you should be completely organized all the time.

At best you may get everything, the garage neat, your car detailed, your checkbook balanced, and your relationships in perfect order, all on the same day. Soon after something is incomplete. And then begins the unwanted thoughts, of unworthiness, phoniness, of being unorganized etc. These invalidating thoughts are compounded and actually begin to weigh on you. They begin to sap your aliveness and your feelings of confidence. Eventually they become barriers to effective communication. You say and hear words but there is no experience of love and respect. You know you love your spouse but the experience of love is missing.
